PORTIS IS THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS! He embodies what the core of this team is. He (almost) singlehandedly took us to the playoffs last year. The man is the shit. He's young and beastly and he aint going NOWHERE. If we traded him for anything but 3 first rounders and a second next year, I would make a point to FORGET that the redskins existed for the next 4-5 years.

I agree with this. I Love Clinton Portis and I don't care who knows it. He's the best football player on our team and I think next year in all of football. You heard it here tonight for the first time. Portis will be the MVP in 2007. Take it to the bank. No way they would trade him. Betts, maybe, but not Clinton. Gibbs would never do that to him.
