I think you are right here. Bob Sanders was not the difference in the Colts run D in the playoffs. Likewise, he wasn't the problem in the regular season. The problem is obviously in their front 7, a front 7 that was adjusted though personel changes and schematically though the course of the season.
Still, Bob Sanders is a pretty good safety in this league, and is certainly more technically sound then Sean Taylor. It's tough to directly compare safeties who play on different teams though, and I'm not going to say one is better than the other.
