I'm not saying the guy doesn't have a gripe, but let's wake up: coaches pushing players to come back too soon from injuries (of all sorts) has been a problem since guys were drawing paychecks from teams like the Providence Steamroller and the Rock Island Independents.
I think people tend to look for a reason to hate Belichick because the Patriots have been the league's most consistant winner in an era where most teams are up and down like yo-yo's. Right now, he's the villian du jour. I'd just as soon wait until all the facts are on the table.
