Georgia Tech is hardly part of "murderers row." They're #24 now and will be knocked out of the top 25 when Va Tech dispatches them this weekend. The Yellow Jackets have always been 'middle of the pack' in a very weak ACC. Penn State was good last year. Michigan State? Only Northwestern, Illinois and Indiana are worse in the Big Ten. And trust me, before they throttled Notre Dame, Michigan was considered to be on the decline. Only now are people talking about them as being any type of noise maker.

State did something against ND that I don't believe Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, and maybe even Iowa wouldn't even be capable of. Penn State is ranked, deserves to be ranked, and still are absolutely not in the same class as the Irish. Win or lose, Michigan State has proved so far this year that they deserve to be top 25, and I could see them taking down Iowa or Michigan. Michigan may be the countries' most underrated team. I'm not saying that because they beat the Irish. I THOUGHT they would beat the Irish preseason (it's in the preseason NCAA FB thread). I also thought the Nat'l championship would be ND-West Virginia. I'm not going to change my prediction because it's been spot on so far. No one will come out of the Big Ten without a loss. Iowa and Michigan will lose one each. Ohio State and Mich. State will lose two each. (Yes, this means that Michigan will beat Ohio State)
