I graduated from University Park in 1999. Now I work in Philly and live just outside the city. The PSU network is certainly huge. You really can't go anywhere (particularly in this state) without running into a PSU alum. Out-of-staters really do have it tough though. In-state it's a huge bargain IMO.
I envy you though. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. If college doesn't end up being the best time of your life, you're doing something wrong. There's just nothing better than being an undergrad. Enjoy the time, because the real world suuuuccckkks.
