He may have turned down more money, but took the job with the better opportunity to win. Jacksonville, they are ok, but I think the Giants are in front of them in terms of winning, Green bay , Miami , come on they are a few years away. Plus, every one is Washington said he couldn't play, over rated so why not go some where that gives you the chance to prove all your doubters wrong. This just shows the guy has the drive to compete in an awesome division, and the competative spirit to want to stick up our rear ends twice a year. I think some of you are actually worried that he is going to be a game changer for the G-Men, especially against us. I am worried about playing him, He has that kind of capability. I would imagine Saunders has something in mind all ready. Stop bashing the guy for wanting to prove people wrong. Its people like you that said he was over rated, lost a step, better without him that he is trying to show he still has it. All the times some one told you that you couldn't do something, what did you do. Piss and moan, or go and prove them wrong? ME? I proved them wrong!!

You also have to think in non-football terms. I think a lot of it also has to do with the relative proximity of being near Washington, his hometown of the past six years and Pittsburgh, his childhood home. So it's a relatively small move. Plus, we all know LaVar loves a camera. You know he was thinking about what a great media opportunity it's going to be for him to play in the Big Apple.
