All that aside, I agree with you Matty that they're not likely to do anything splashy here. Obviously, being down our top 3 WRs, 3 DEs (including our best two), starting RB, and starting SS is a lot to overcome -- key pieces on both sides of the ball. I would imagine that the coaches and AP are aware that they've got a different team than they can actually field at the moment, which doesn't scream blow it up. My guess is that they're likely to get guys that are no more than a stop-gap (read: cheap), if anything.
Having said that, it seems clear that Ekeler and Lattimore won't be back, and I'd be surprised if Noah Brown returns (just not healthy enough), which means we're going to need to WR, RB, and CB help. If AP could find someone he likes AND thinks can stick beyond this season before the 11/4 deadline, I'm all for it. But I am having a hard time imagining anyone that fits that bill will be available to us, or , perhaps more accurately, available to us on reasonable terms.

I'd put CB, WR and LB as top 3 needs, now and for the draft. Edge probably top now, but maybe 3rd or 4th for the draft. I'm interested to see if Jones can add something at CB and pressure Igbinoghene to up his game. I see only 1, if either being re-signed in '26. I can see the Lattimore experiment being over and Ertz having more downside than up, but aside from Wagner hopefully retiring (sorry big man, it's time), I don't see anyone else that should definitely be gone, at least that isn't an FA in February. If we can improve at those 4 positions at all now, the season is salvageable at least. Into next year all 4 positions need an upgrade, and I'd throw in S and TE too (if Sinnott is a wash out).
