One thing though, it's a rib injury. RG3 was a knee and that's a much more serious injury; he should never have played on it. If JD had done his knee I'd wholeheartedly agree with letting him heal completely before he sees the field again. A rib injury, barring a break, should heal reasonably quickly, especially with reest and treatment.

IMO, the staff took a stupid risk on Thursday night. Whether, it's Daniels knee or ribs, he shouldn't be playing if it's affecting his play..... Which his play is being affected. That is the main point I'm attempting to make. Daniels isn't effective, and he shouldn't be playing. The playbook was being minimized on Thursday based on his effectiveness or ineffectiveness. He should sit until he can effectively function. Period.
