Jaden Daniels right now. Drafted him
#2, and didn't have a decent OL in place and just threw him out to start". Isn't that the way of the NFL for QB's drafted at the top of the draft?
The larger problem for Carolina is that they traded up to #1 to get a QB and then drafted the wrong one! In my mind, there are minimum height, weight, and arm strength requirements for a QB to even be considered as a draft pick. He does not meet any of those minimums IMO. And my personal height and weight minimums keep going up every couple of years as the defensive players keep getting taller and stronger.
The largest problem of all for the Panthers is that they have a meddling nincompoop owner who forces the football side to do stupid things. That can only change with new ownership.
