The Washington Commanders’ front-office makeover continues under general manager Adam Peters. Washington is hiring former Carolina Panthers GM Scott Fitterer, team sources said Monday.
Fitterer, part of the Seattle Seahawks’ front office from 2001 to 2020 before joining Carolina from 2021 to 2023, will support the Commanders’ revamped department as a personnel executive. The Panthers fired Fitterer in January. Carolina went 14-37 over the previous three seasons.

Panther fans were super critical of this hire,
but they think a lot of his picks could have been ordered by Tepper. A little surprising hire, as I thought the front office was done.
