This is a major event. It the SC holds this up - not a zero chance - the Trump campaign will be over. If it survives the SC other states will follow suit including most of the critical battle ground states. Frankly I think it should apply as by definition he attempted a coup (admittedly one can say a coup is not an insurrection but certainly would be a close cousin- heck even a brother).
