Re: Can we get some D - Seahawks post game thread

The cold hard reality is there is a talent deficit at every single position group on this roster with the exception of QB and DT (and K and P). And the DTs were here before Ron showed up, too.

Our WRs aren't getting separation and all of them ave dropped more balls than they should this season. Our OL can't hold blocks long enough to let routes develop and they're not good at run blocking, either. We don't have any great TEs to feature in the Bieniemy offense and our RBs are masterful at running up the gut and getting 0-2 yards.

The DEs are inconsistent in getting pressure. JSW and Toohill are more disciplined than Chase and Sweat were but they don't generate the same pressure. None of them consistently got/get sacks. The LBs are stuck in concrete aside from Jamin who can move fast but can't cover. The corners get beat routinely.

St. Juste interferes on 90% of plays and rolls the dice on how often he gets called for it. Curl is good not great and just one guy.

We traded up to draft a LS who can't snap the ball. Tress is Tress - thank god for him. Slye is good despite missing the PAT today.

Howell is a top-10 guy but he's young and going to make rookie mistakes.

Not every position group needs to be great to have a great team, but we just don't have the horses to be a contending team. Rivera and co. have had some awful drafts and FA misses.
