Halftime opinion: starting offense has poor line blocking, Wiley was bad, screens were bad, no legitimate running attack, a tad slow getting to the line, passes were slightly off. Probably could use 29 play scripting for every game for a while. Defense not as good as hoped. Although no blunders, Watson had an easy time scrambling through the middle. No blown coverage but a lot of 2nd and 5s. Browns simply blew it as they had 7 in the bag. The 2nd teams though were quite different. Our depth shows as our backup d ends are really good. We didnt see enough of the running game in my opinion, but perhaps they are working on pass protection and passing. Chris Rodriguez at rb looks like a lock as the guy is fast and had quick and clear vision. Our te's have iffy hands, Bates is a blocker and drips, but so did our other guy with the pick/fumble six that was called back. Howell did not move the needle, nor did brissette. At least Howell didn't do anything stupid like Jacoby who is not supposed to. In general it seems the defensive players know where to be. I do not believe that is true of the online or dyami brown/brissette. I believe the starting online should work for 3 quarters from here on out. They looked bad. I don't know if brown is our 4the receiver anymore. I believe it should be Pringle. And next would be the best returner. To me Wiley and dyami brown are stock down. Stock up are backup d ends and rodrigues
