The high guarantees are notable, the highest signing bonus ever given to a WR and high guaranteed percentage speaks to how unlikely Washington thinks it is that Terry will underperform. This contract says they know what they have with him and they're comfortable he will be the man like he has been the first three years.
I also think from Terry's perspective, he clearly didn't get caught up in average annual value for show. He and his side wanted high guarantees and I don't blame them. If there's ever a guy you can depend on, it's him, and he converted that trait into the highest signing bonus ever granted to a WR.
You know it's a good negotiation when both sides walk away feeling good, I bet they both did. HTTC and congrats Terry!
