Nailed it. Anytime I hear of a death I like to learn the circumstances because there's often a lesson to be learned. Maybe it's a lesson we all know well and good already, but still doesn't hurt to reinforce it.
I don't want to die young. I especially don't want my daughters to die young. So if I see a risky behavior resulted in a death, you're damn right I use it as an example with my kids of what can happen when you fail to think.
