Haskins needs GAME EXPERIENCE more than anything. He hasn’t even had a rookie QB’s number of games yet.

Both Haskins (2020) and Allen (2019 - Carolina) are at 80 QB rating. Haskins has a great deal more value as trade bait next year if he can improve. I DON’T think Haskin’s is the long-term answer at QB, but we may get Haskins to the point to be good trade material OR a good backup to our rookie QB next year. Unfortunately we have to suffer through he slow growth this season. But we need some new blood at critical positions to get better. We are not one player away from being a good team.

Good news is out cap money situation will be GREAT next year ($33 mill - third best in NFL) and we’ll have great draft position it looks like. We are going to get an outstanding QB draft pick in 2021!
