Agreed. I usually go into the off-season with some hope and an idea on how the team could turn things around but this year...
It just feels like we've hit the bottom of the barrel. With no money, a lack of talent across the board, locker room drama, an insufferable front office, etc. The list goes on and on and on.
The only saving grace I can point to is our draft capital. We have ammunition to make
some moves, I suppose. But even then I don't think we have enough capital to fix everything in one off-season. Or even restore hope in that time.
Unless we somehow land a generational talent who can single-handily win games for us, the future is bleak.
I think we're in store for a full tear down of the team come 2020 and in all honesty we probably need it. Even still, I don't believe it will bear any results as long as Snyder is the owner. So it's
still hard to get my hopes up.
Thus
the apathy has set in for me, as it has for much of the fan base. And at this point it's on the organization to
GIVE me a reason to actively support them.
