In all seriousness, though, I hope it is because he's figuring out who the GM should be and that the GM will be intimately involved in the coaching search and decision. I will say this, though -- if there isn't a major change in the offseason (barring some miraculous win streak now), the fan base will leave in droves. I assume that the folks on the Warpath are among the most loyal, and comments in the last few weeks reflect extraordinary disaffection.

Very true. I consider most posters here to be realistic and level-headed (for the most part.) When the mood around here is as negative as it has been lately, things are in bad shape.
I think Snyder needs to find a competent
GM and let
him make the decisions,
alone.
We don't need another "Team President" or "VP of Player Personnel." And we don't need this "Decision by Committee" crap we have going on now. We need a
SINGULAR GM who is going to be in charge and call the shots the way
HE sees fit. Of course, this only works if you have the right guy put in place. (Please, Please, Please don't put Doug Williams into this role.) Set up a clear chain of command and let the people do their job. Look what Dorsey has done in Cleveland.
If Snyder goes on to hire another Business Exec to "Team up" with what we already have in place, it's going to be more of the same.
Vinny Cerato, Bruce Allen.... who's next in this lineage of failure??
