Most people will say he turned around a bad situation and added stability. That alone should give him creditability. The bigger question is whether he can take the next step. When I look at the team, I say is it better now than when he arrived. The answer is "Yes".
I also know the grass is greener on the other side, but I do not understand all the baby shanny love. I am sorry but he has not done shit yet. He may turn out to be a great coach, but so may Jay.

For my part, it's not Shanny (or baby Shanny) love - maybe a little McVay remorse. But generally, it's the fact that while he brought stability, he also brought very noticeable concerns. The chief of which is the team's frequent lackluster performance on the big stage. Second is questionable calls ala Andy Reid. If he wins the division and/or playoff games, then maybe he is learning as a coach. That is possible. But if we continue to be a middle of the road team, then his position at least needs to be looked at.
