Agreed. (Especially if Tim Settle continues to prove how wrong I was to be skeptical about his preseason performance ^^)
In fact, the more I think about it, the more the only acquisition that I'd be in favor now would be
OL: either a
quality back up able to play several positions, that could be found in the waivers, or part of a low key trade, or an
improvement at LG.
Even if Guice's injury is a bummer, I'm not
worried by our RB squad... well at least not as worried as I am by our OL depth.
We still have a solid roster, best defense we've had in decades, solid QB, solid receiving corps, talented young RB, very good starting OL minus the LG spot... But if more than one of these 5 big men gets injured, and Tyler Catalina or Tony Bergstrom or John Kling or TJ Clemmings comes in... all of the sudden we're in trouble!
