Chico jump started the other car thread so I was thinking about this one again.

I learned to drive on an automatic transmission but how did you guys learn to drive a stick? I had gotten a part time job at a liquor store in 1976 and this was their delivery car... a three speed stick but once I got the nac it was fun to drive.
