I don't believe they have a viable back up center who will be active on game day on the roster right now.
Jay has said in the past he loses sleep over the center position.
I really like a pick like Price as a hedge against injury at the center position. If they do take an O lineman early, I'm betting it is a player who can play multiple positions.
I really want a front seven D player in the top rounds though and love the Hurst pick, if he is still there.
All that being said, I believe a talented dual threat running back would have the single biggest impact on the team from a win/loss point of view.
Portis was on Cooley the other day, he apparently evaluates the RB position for the team (who knows how much weight is given to his opinion).
He said Guice was the only other RB with a 1st round grade besides Barkley.
