Terrible as a whole, yes. However, if it wasn't a situation in which multiple guys not usually part of the starting lineup all playing at once, then it would have been serviceable production. You just can't expect your back up lineman to be the same caliber as starters, and if you have a patch work line terrible is kind of expected.
Over the past several years when 1 or 2 of our starting guys was out of the lineup our backup guys came in and held their own next to the starters. It's not a certainty, but given that we remained competitive with walkons and won games even, I think the guys we have performed to a level similar to our depth in recent seasons. I could be wrong, but that is my impression.
I would like to see some other developmental potential future starters though, similar to bringing in Moses, Long, etc. You can find those guys in mid to late rounds.
