We don't know what happened in the negotiations with Hankins. The Skins may have made him a more than fair offer within the parameters of their overall plan. Right now, Hankins may want to look around to see if he can get a better offer. There's no telling if he'll find a better offer or if the Skins might sweeten the pot a little to get the deal done. Either way, I support the FO for having a plan and working it.

Also good points. I also think that part of their plan includes a DT in the first two rounds of the draft. Assuming they do that, it puts less urgency in the signing of Hankins.
