Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Everyone should catch as many of the clips of him speaking as they can - don't read about what he said but actually watch his facial expressions, body language, and mannerisms as he speaks and reacts to the questions.
I come away knowing deep down that his heart is here and that he believes in the staff and the organization. It's incredibly comforting.
I also come away unbelievably impressed by his perceptiveness. He can identify skill sets in people - the way he assesses Gruden's playcalling and gameplanning, McVay, Garcon, he is perceptive and insightful.
All in all, if you watch it, I think you walk away knowing this guy is going to continue to get better and better and better. He may not be the playmaker like Wentz or Rodgers but he's so intelligent, self aware, humble, hard working and introspective that you know he's going to keep improving.
And it's clear he doesn't want us to kill ourselves money wise. Just give him good guarantees. If he decides to leave, it won't be because of money, it will be because he feels at home somewhere else. And if that's the case it's a shame, but it is what it is, and godspeed and good luck.
