And the answer to that is NO, which BA and DS both know they cant pay Kirk 30M and have a team around him to compete for a SB next yr or maybe even the next few years. Look at Det and Indy, both teams are EH, ok teams but wont be able to sign any big help in the OS. The Saints have already basically said they cant give DB a raise due to their cap structure.
So you either roll the dice on 30M and avg players around Kirk, mainly on Offense (like this yr), and hope draft picks become stars.
Or you let him go elsewhere, get what u can for him if possible and roll with a cheaper option (Alex Smith, Baker Mayfield, etc.)
Heck the Packers cant even field a solid Defense through F/A and that is with AROD making 22M a yr.
