Problem is KC has to work with that team and come to an agreement on a contract before he will be traded. No team will give up anything for him without a contract worked out. He still has leverage if he leaves, but no leverage to get out.
IMO the Redskin's best bet is to put a very fair contract out there 22-24M a year and add incentives for items such as 3K yards passing, 2:1 TD ratio with at least 20 TDs. Win 9 games. Even if he doesn't hit them, still making very good money.
I think the Redskins are greatly underestimating how important some positive press would be...
