Zero players lost so far and just extended coach after back to back winning seasons and all the media coverage paints them as being the biggest laughing stock in the league.
Skins are paying a "hurt feelings" penalty, because the local media wasn't given a heads up on Scot missing the combine. For all we know, he's been real shitty at his job the last 2 years or he's relapsed and the Skins are giving him every opportunity to work things out.
I like Scot and want him around for the long term, but there's no definitive proof that he's done such an amazing job that he should be treated as sacred. Maybe he's the reason Kirk wasn't locked up for less money last year and maybe he stood on the table for draft picks that turned out to be way worse than players others in the organization wanted to take instead. Last 2 drafts have been meh and the free agents they've brought in have been busts for the most part.
Media justifies harsh treatment using the, "they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt argument", but I'm reserving judgement until there are actual results to be judged.
