I think the established track record of Bruce/Dan is fairly poor when it comes to QBs. While Bruce and Jay may be fans of Colt...this guy isn't a franchise QB. I think if he was...then Jay would have played him/back him as "that guy".
If they don't think Cousins is the future, the answer isn't Colt. I think that's established by how Jay has run the team.
