If RG3 was putting up the numbers that KC has he'd have his long term deal. Those dummies couldn't wait to give him 16 million, not thinking he'd get beat out.

Its just a tough reality to face, but from what we've heard its not out of the question.
I stated before, I don't want Cousins to play under the franchise tag again, because he will walk and we get nothing. The best case scenario is IMO is franchise and get San Fran, Cleveland, and Chicago in a bidding war for Cousins....and at the sametime call New England and make a gentleman agreement the 17th for Jimmy Garoppolo if we can move Cousins for picks. In the end, we will move Cousins for Multiple 1st rounders...one being a top 3 this year and next year. Along with additional later picks most likely.
I think this setups us up in the two ways, we get a 1 of the 2 best available QB in the offseason and it clears the way for a possible Josh McDaniel hire next year if Gruden shits the bed.
All this said, my preference is to sign Cousins long term.
