I've long moved past the days where I'd be livid or bothered for days on end after a Redskins loss. It's been years! You get older and, hopefully, more mature and other things in life is more part of your focus (kids, wife/girlfriend, job, other activities, etc.). Then, this stuff called sports isn't a huge deal when your team loses. Unfortunately, there are still older folks who'll get seriously bent out of shape when their team loses. Once, you reach a certain age, then this stuff shouldn't create emotional shifts. Those type of people, IMO, have some type of shortcoming(s) in their life and vicariously live through sports for some type of gratification.
I was irked throughout the game. I thought about it for a minute or two, once it was over, then moved on. I love to see the Redskins win, and would love to get back to the days of Gibbs I. I hate losing. But, these loses doesn't sting as bad, as in years past due to where I'm currently at in my life. I can say, I'm glad those days are in the past.
