Remember that option 2 may end up costing as much as option 3 or more in terms of draft picks. Also that this draft is widely considered poor in terms of QB skill. A team like the Texans(or Broncos) who have a late first round pick and a need at QB might take option 3. |
The main problem is that the Redskins have right of first refusal. They can put together any deal they want (that they can live with) and the Redskins simply sign the deal instead, and you have to assume they would for any near standard deal.
