Exactly. No one is asking Jay to hire Mike Martz mid-season and try running the greatest show on turf, but through the course of our games you can see tiny examples of thing that work, yet we keep going back to the stuff that doesn't work.

More throwing on 1st down for starters. That doesn't "change the offense" but what it does is give us a chance to get chunks of yards on 1st down instead of running on 1st down 16 of 23 times which usually sets up 2nd and 8.

I understand if he WANTS to use the run to setup the pass, but right now the personnel is not allowing for us to get significant yardage on 1st down runs, so replace those with Matt Jones screens, or slant routes or other quick passing plays.

Just stuff like that.
