Netflix wants more NFL beyond what they have.

The next tv contract isn’t up until 2032/33 but has an opt out in 2029.

Buzz is building Netflix could go after either the entire SNF package or one or both of the Sunday Afternoon packages.

Since I already have netflix, I'm fine with that. You mentioned sunday afternoon packages - as in sunday ticket?

TV money will keep flooding in despite fans thinking expanding to 18 games is a mistake, the cash cow just keeps rolling

The Sunday afternoon package that Fox and CBS has. So if they win those rights, those games would air on Netflix.

The further they expand this type of shit the less I'll end up paying and just do shit for free. Greed is ugly.

I got Netflix too but get your shit together with the live events. You start freezing up during football and people are gonna cancel your shit.

Well, since the earliest this could happen is 2029; Netflix will have gotten its shit together by then. Also, if they actually get a tv package from the traditional network; they’d probably hire some of those people to run their football package.

When Fox got football for the first time in the 90’s; they’d probably hired a lot of those CBS employees. Fox was doing it from scratch and they weren’t even yet a full network.
