Kiss, Marry, Kill - Commanders FA's
 

Thought I'd post this as there are posts on FA targets, draft and one for BRob, but not really addressing something of an elephant in teh room. Who do we keep, if we can. So which of our impending FA's do we kiss (short term deal), marry (longer deal) or kill (cut , ASAP, get outta the building!).

My kiss list:
Bobby Wagner
Marcus Mariota
Tress Way (he's getting up there, but deserves to try to end his career here. If only for that pass!)
Dante Fowler Jr.
Zach Ertz (one year rental while he still has something left in the tank)
Dyami Brown (not convinced he can be more than a #3, but...)
Noah Brown (Did well in a short window; worth a shot?)
Jeremy McNichols (one of these 2?; RB needs upgrading)
Chris Rodriguez Jr.
Austin Seibert
Kazmeir Allenn

Marry:
Noah Igbinoghene
Jeremy Chinn
Olamide Zaccheaus
John Bates (until Sinnott develops at least, and we don't want to have to draft a TE again this year)

Kill the rest (OK, well cut them at least...). I don't see anyone left that we can't upgrade from via FA at least. Or a few UDFA's, to fill the roster.

If we can re-sign these guys, that's 15 left taking a walk. Lot of work for AP and DQ in the next 2 months.

Way, Wagner and Ertz I’d would say are my top choices

I’d like Chinn, but there are always so many decent Safeties out there
Mariota was much better than I thought, but I’d leave it up to him to decide
D Brown at receiver as depth piece

Honestly nobody else really need back. Fowler Jr maybe if we can’t get that a pass rusher who can’t set the edge as well

Both Brown should compete for #3 spot - the loser either gets cut or accepts #4 spot.

I'm on fence with Rodriguez - he plays well when given chance and yet the coaches didn't give him more opportunities so I'm not sure if we are overestimating Rodriguez's abilities.

I'd say if they think they can get the same production out of Fowler again for the right money then he's worth re-signing if only to rotate in situationally. 8-10 sacks is worth it I reckon.
