Brian Robinson
Who thinks he'll be in Washington next season ? I predict that he will be traded......

Re: Brian Robinson
If we had a better defense we might very well be Superbowl Champions right now. So, as much as we need an upgrade at RB imo, the Defense and Oline are more pressing.

Re: Brian Robinson
build the trenches. d line is an absolute need. 2nd would be lb depth, 3rd would be secondary, 4th oline, and 5th would be rb. I want to see more push from brob....and i thnk its a need for sure. but there are other more pressing issues, i think. we have a ton of gaps in the entire team....our d really needs some upgrades though.
barkley was shut down tonight, but the eagles dominated regardless. just sayin. |

This is a fact. There are a lot of areas (position groups) where we can improve, but O-line and the defense should be the priority in free agency and the draft. |
Re: Brian Robinson
Guy had an up and down year and lost it mid way through. His story as a player in this league isn't over and I'm fine with keeping him. RB is not a priority for me this off-season.

Re: Brian Robinson
Is there room for improvement? Yes. I'm not a fan of his vision and he seems to only have one move which is being a thumper.
With that being said we do have more pressing needs. If they find an upgrade go for it. If not bring Robinson/Ekeler back for another year. |
Re: Brian Robinson
If we can pick up a guy with breakaway capability in the later rounds, BRob would be a worthwhile #2 when we need hard yards. I see no reason to trade him, at least not at this point. Plus we likely we wouldn't get much value.

Re: Brian Robinson
Unless we find a rb in draft or free agency, he’s likely the starter. If we find someone else, he’s probably the backup but he’s not getting a second contract with us.

Re: Brian Robinson
BRob has a place on the team, but he isn’t a starter
We need more speed out the backfield |
Re: Brian Robinson
When BRob has room to run he is a more than capable back. See the Titans game. We're fine at RB. Sure I'd like to have Gibbs or SaQuan but those guys are few and far between. Way more pressing needs are in the trenches. I think we saw last night and two weeks ago that in order to compete w/ the Eagles, we had better start in that area.

Re: Brian Robinson
CRod so far in his career averages just a tad under 5 yards a carry. I actually think he may be better than BRob.

Re: Brian Robinson
Our most dangerous runner is #5. One more quality Oline addition in off-season plus Cosmi and Coleman having another year to improve and unning game will be good enough.

CRod has 86 carries in 2 seasons (35 in one season with us). BRob has 565 in 3. It's not unusual for a situational/back up player to have good per play stats but coaches see things in practice etc. that tell them the guy isn't an every down player, except in an emergency. BRob isn't a long term solution much as I like the guy, but CRod isn't that replacement. |
Re: Brian Robinson
He needs glasses. He has zero vision. He either doesn't see the hole, or he has no patience... or both. He definitely has taken a step back. I would be on the lookout for an upgrade at that position along with many others, but O-line and the defense should be the priority.

Those are fair points but when he is given a chance to really carry the ball he always has production. He has better vision than BRob, seems to me like a more natural pure runner, always going downhill, no nonsense. But when I look at our team, RB is far down the list. I'd rather invest in the o-line, get better road graders. I don't like Coleman at tackle. I'd slide him down to LG and try and find a real franchise LT. |
