Nba 2021
Are the Wizards legitimately good this year? What an impressive start to the season. I like Beal, good for him.

I'm a Thunder fan myself, but I have no issues with the Wizards. Only brought it up because they are the local team here. Cool to see them have a good start. |
Re: Nba 2021
The Celtics are all in on Beal in 2022

It feels surreal - two years ago we had Grunfeld, Scotty Brooks, an injured John Wall and his albatross of a contract. Somehow we managed to flip that for a year of Russell Westbrook and gaudy stats - but no team success and then we managed to flip him for a good squad of young talent to pair with Bradley Beal. Just an absolutely wizardly job of flipping bad contracts and old players for a young roster that can compete with most teams on the court. I couldn't be happier with the job WUJ is doing developing these guys - they are off to a great start and I hope it continues. |

Think of the NBA season as a marathon, and the L. James runners are all just walking the first 10 miles then when it gets close to the finish line they turn on the jets. The Wizards are like Fat Albert running at top speed eventually they are going get passed. |

But the Wizards were stuck in a WFT-like run of mediocrity for the last several years. I keep waiting for the start to cool off but it hasn't yet. |

Personally I hadn't noticed until a friend of mine pointed it out to me the other day. Who knows...the Washington Wizards might actually make the NBA playoffs this year. @mooby...Also I completely agree with you...when the Washington Wizards lost John Wall, I automatically thought that the Washington Wizards didn't have any chance of being a winning team for a long time. As you pointed out, however, they successfully flipped him for Russell Westbrook and the Washington Wizards improved, and then they successful flipped him for a bunch of younger players that seem to be very good! We'll see how the season goes, but it does look promising! Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk |
