Re: Can Somebody Call Barry Cofield for God Sakes!!!!
At this point, we probably fare as well with Barry White clogging up the middle.

but seriously though .. lets call him. At least he could clog things up, get a good push. |
Re: Can Somebody Call Barry Cofield for God Sakes!!!!
Hell, let's call Bruce Smith.
While we're at it, let's call Manley, Mann and hell, maybe even Butz. |

Re: Can Somebody Call Barry Cofield for God Sakes!!!!
Cofied was a handpicked free agent by Mike Shanahan. McCloughan would sign a big 360 pound FA NT before he would settle on a player whose contract he terminated.

Re: Can Somebody Call Barry Cofield for God Sakes!!!!
my brain is exploding right now. wholly hell, cofield is really only 31?? wow.
dang TO, my apologies. I thought he would be 35-36. He needs to get a better agent. Free agent DT Barry Cofield (hip, ankle, abdomen) is expected to be ready to play in 4-6 weeks. Cofield has attracted no known interest on the open market since the Redskins dumped him in February. That's because he's 31, is coming off a torn labrum and missed eight games last year. Still, Cofield should eventually get a look as a versatile tackle that can both defend the run and push the pocket.
