So far I went to the club to bring in the New Year. Stayed at a luxury hotel that night...

Then got a head cold.

Soooo... That's where I'm at now.

I met my new niece, who was born on Thursday, so that was fun. Today was less fun - went to a funeral for one of my sister's oldest friends. So it's been kind of a weird start to '14 for me and my family.

I've been getting over the flu. Nearly 3 weeks in and just feeling normal again.

This isn't going the way I'd planned.....

OK, this evening I'm seeing Patton Oswald at Largo at the Coronet. Come on, people! 2014! Tear shit up!

Eat! Sleep! Rave! Repeat!

Something!

I'm watching some playoffs and drinking some bourbon county, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Ok, actually it was just a boring high school match with a ton of forfeits, but I did get to call illegal head scissors, so there's that...

Well let's see:

1/1 - did laundry/got my shit cleaned up and got ready to go back to work after my vacation.
1/2 - worked 11 hours
1/3 - worked 11 hours
1/4 - worked 9 hours, chilled at a friend's house for the past 3 hours watching Eagles-Saints, working on passing out now since tomorrow is my only day off until next Saturday. Tomorrow probably gonna chill with friends again and watch more playoff football.

/stuck in boring existence.

Threw a New Year's Eve party at our house. Had lots of friends, new and old there chillin' with us. Thankful to be blessed with another year on this beautiful planet.

Too unattractive for the stage. I'd be the sad old git at the front jumping up and down. Doing the same at EDC in June.

Bought a new car, balled up in southern Connecticut for 4 days, and been drying out from alcohol since January 1st. Every now and then I need to dry out for like a month, it helps, I do that with tweeds too.

Snow today has shut down the DC/MD/VA area so I caved and bought a 3 month PS Plus membership, so I'm about to go downloaded Xcom and Borderlands 2 and do something valuable with my time. :D
