Big East Looking to get Maryland
 

So it appears that the Big East is after Maryland (and Boston College). Thoughts?

i don't have a problem with bostob college leaving the acc,but maryland needs to stay.whenever maryland plays unc,duke,uva, and all the other acc teams it has played for years,it is always a game people want to watch even when the teams are crappy in football and basketball especially.

Yeah, it would be a huge challenge for the basketball team. Outside of UNC, Duke, Wake and the Terps, the ACC is not a challenging conference like the Big East, who top-to-bottom is the strongest conference in the nation with 8-10 Tourney-caliber teams annually.

The football team would get a boost in success though.

At this rate, the Big East Tourney is going to be more fun to watch than the NCAA Tourney.
