We love you, even though you were a Cowboy. Anyway thanks for giving us one of the better Redskins in the teams long history. You will be missed. |

Read my custom user title and you'd have seen it over an hour ago
But I disgress, tragic loss. I know the Springs family had been suffering a lot over the past several years. And as much as some may say well he's not suffering anymore, it's still difficult for everyone. Thoughts and prayers with the Springs |

Re: Shawn Springs' father Ron passes away
Tough, tough, loss, especially considering how avoidable it could have been.

Re: Shawn Springs' father Ron passes away
RIP Ron Springs & all the best to the Springs family as they remember him.
I grew up w/some of his cousins, he's from my hometown - Williamsburg, Va. Although Lawrence Taylor is also from Williamsburg, only Ron Springs has a road named after him. My high school coach coached him a decade + earlier & always spoke fondly of him. I remember that last Woody Hayes OSU game. Ron was on that team as I recall. It never bothered me that he was a cowboy, was just proud that he came from my hometown. When Shawn Springs came to the Skins it was kinda fitting, since Shawn was also born in Williamsburg I believe, then grew up in northern va. in Skins country. |
