I read a headline that said "Mike Vrabel arrested for felony theft". When did stealing eight bottles of beer constitute a felony?

The story makes no sense at all.
1) Vrabel can probably afford to buy an entire brewery, let alone 8 beers.
2) As mentioned, Vegas casinos give everyone FREE ALCOHOL. Why make 8 beers national news?

I think this isn't about beer at all. He did something or said something to piss them off. And they screwed him on this story.

Since video cameras are installed throughout most casinos (insert your own “Vrabel should be used to that since he played for the Patriots” line here), there should be visual evidence of the alleged incident.
