Maybe Vinny or Danny took it off. LOL. :) |

Link is working now. Sorry bout that.

Re: Zorn seeing the same things we do
I'd like to hear more emphasis on the offensive and defensive lines from the team.

Re: Zorn seeing the same things we do
“We have a solid offensive line, but we’re always looking to build,” he said. “Guys do get injured, so when you have to put a new guy in, you would love to have him come in and have it be seamless.”
Jim Zorn That is not what I had in mind, dude, not at all. I wonder whether this is an indicator the FO has already decided it won't replace anyone on the o-line this offseason. To me it sounds that way but maybe i'm being pessimistic. Anyway, if we literally have the exact same personnel in the trenches I'm gonna 1) vow to not visit this board through the season as to not lose my posting privilege by cussing out the ownership every 90 seconds 2) come to the harsh realization we'll be mediocre again and really, really accept it this time... maybe just watch the games and look for little things like "Did Campbell take more 3 step drops than last year" or "Can I tell how late Smoot partied last night based on that last play?" |

Actually I have a confession to make. I Dirtbag have been flirting with the idea of becoming a Ravens fan. Fans talk all the time about sticking it to management and boycotting the team until something is done about the circus that is the Washington Redskins but they never have the heart to. I remember back in 2001 or 2002 when the Skins were like 0-5 1-5 under Marty how I started watching Ravens games the first one being the first match between the Titans and the Ravens. From that point on as more Ravens games started making their way to Atlanta I found myself becoming a fan to the point where I was rooting for the team in the Super Bowl with the same entuhsiasm that I rooted for the Skins. Yeah call me what you will but only a fool would stay put in such an abusive relationship that is loyalty to these Washington Redskins. Now I'm not defecting yet but I have to say if nothing is done about the lines, and at the same time we get Vinny peddling his holy draft board then it's going to be very tempting to stand up and leave. Lifes to short to wait for Dan Snyder to learn how to run a team. |

For instance some are already suggesting Moss will be shown the door. If we used the pick and cap space to just bring in a high-priced WR w/o upgrading the line... :vomit: |

What did you expect? Samuels is ok, but Rayback blows dead dogs? |

Who's Rayback...........:) |

That's incorrectspeak for Casey Rabach!

Re: Zorn seeing the same things we do
I've also entertained the idea of going for another team. I just can't though. I think Zs not going to bash the lines but everyone knows that is going to be the focus of the draft and FA. It's so apparent that a blind man could hit it with a snow shovel.

Yeah, it really is hard. I mean surprisingly rooting for this franchise has brought me a lot of great memories over the years. Especially finding this site as I bet a lot of you guys can imagine it's tough talking Redskins football in Georgia. On top of that I think how can I leave when I have memories such as dressing up in my Redskins halloween costume back in October 91 or going absolutely nuts when the Skins beat the Jets on opening night, or of course my favorite memory as of late, beating the Cowboys on MNF back in 05. Of course I would be remissed if I didn't remember where I was when I found out Joe Gibbs was coming back to coach the team. Maybe it is just an empty threat, but I have to say my loyalty really is getting tested these days, though not nearly as much as say a Lions or Bengals fan. |
