Hi Guys.......
Look ,the Giants need alot of work ,as do the Skins .Both sides last night at times played very well and both at times look like crap. The Skins made good adjustments in the second half and stopped us.It's a long year and lets not forget it was an NFC East game which is always tuff no matter what your record is.I saw good and bad on both sides.

Congrats on the win! Yeah, I definitely say both teams needs some work, the Redskins more than the Giants. |

Appreciate the kind words but i really didn't see the skins play well w/ the exception of about 1 minute before the half. The Giants DOMINATED us on both sides. They got a little conservative in the second and our D did pick it up a little. |
Re: Hi Guys.......
We did step up our D in the second half, but our Offense never got going. I kind of expacted it....new coach, new system. The sky is not falling. We just need to adjust.

Re: Hi Guys.......
Same crap here just when I thought things were going well ,Eli boggs down or the D makes some very(very) stupid mistakes. You guys adjusted and turned it around in the second half.:food-smil

Re: Hi Guys.......
Congrats on the win and thanks for the classy post. My 11 yo son LOVES the Giants (kills me to say it) and I thought you guys came out ready to show the world you are the defending SB champs. Goodluck, until we meet again that is. (and i guess i'll be rooting for you guys to go 5 - 1 in the division).

Thanks ,LOL....your son is very wise for 11. |
Re: Hi Guys.......
Truth be told, Eli Manning didn't look very good outside of the opening drive. He should have thrown 4 INTs. If Rogers and Smoot didn't have shoe horns for hands he would have. He obviously has a good command of the offense, but showed no reason why he won't be the league leader in INTs again. Jacobs looked great (Laron, the name of that truck was Brandon), and Carney is ageless.
Good win, although I would be a tad concerned only scoring 6 points after the 1st quarter and none in the second half. Your D did a good job against a virgin offense. I wasn't impressed with either team really, but you escaped 1-0, so a tip of the hat to ya... |

Sorry to hear that CRedskins. My wife is a die hard Giant fan, and I'm deathly afraid of one day having a son who will become one himself. Let me know what you did wrong, and I'll try to avoid the mistakes!! After the 1st quarter the game was a wash, and it seems that fans from both sides are unhappy with the way their own teams played. I'm going to walk out onto the optimistic limb here nd suggest that perhaps what we saw in quarters 2-4 were two very good teams slugging it out? |
Re: Hi Guys.......
I took him to New York for his 11th Birthday in May (it was all he wanted:() and we did all the normal things, and went to Modell's on Times Square and they had some Jerseys on sale, including an Antonio Pierce. I told him that AP was a former Skins player so that was the one he wanted(since they didn't have Eli). So now he has his "Giants/Skins" Jersey.
PS I still plan on convincing him of the error of his ways |

[/quote] Don't let a 10 year old boy hear a player's name of Shockey. He loved that and I havent gotten him back yet (not even with Cooley, which I thought would be a sure fire solution) |
