Happy Birthday-ish, Washington Redskins
This Date in NFL History
February 13, 1937 — Redskins owner George Preston Marshall gets approval from the NFL to move the franchise from Boston to Washington. They would go on to win a championship their first year in the nation's capital. If they had not moved here and we had another team instead, I wonder what our team name would have been? Would the Patriots ever have existed? These questions will forever burn my soul. |
