Car Help!
 

Hey Guys,

Recently I was pulling out of my driveway and noticed my ABS light was on. I cut off my car and let it sit for a second thinking maybe that would do... something. As a matter of fact, it did do something. My car wouldn't start again. After getting it jumped ( I assumed battery problem or starter ) I let it run a second, but the second I turned on the headlights it died. I was able to back it out without headlights and into a safe place, but Im guessing my alternator is dead (and no one to fix it till Tuesday #$*) anyhow.. my question is does my assumption of an alternater sound correct.

When I tried to start it without the jump it goes CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK really quick.

hey man yeah its the alternater..abs light is classic tell tell story of alt being bad auto tech for 12 years here...

Yep. I had my alternater go on me a couple years ago, pain in the ass. But really nothing you can do to get around it besides just replacing it.
