Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
This might be a long shot, but does anyone have a clip of the play where Terry Glenn pulled up early and wouldn't extend his hands for the pass what with #21 bearing down on him? I think I laughed over that play for a good 10 minutes.
Hell, for that matter, does anyone have the full game burned on a DVD yet? I'll gladly Paypal you whatever you want for it (ok, not whatEVER you want, but a few bucks for sure). |

Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
Glenn had his Alligator arm on that day.

Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
Glenn was scared, no doubt. We seem to be seeing more of that each week whenever ST is in the area, usually someone is ducking. :)

I think he was afraid of getting them ripped off by ST. Ball comes about 2 feet in front of him and he doesn't even extend. |
Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
even the one catch he had on the sideline,he was bailing out because sean taylor was about to jack him up.they started talking after the play.i wouldve loved to hear what was said

Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
I guess Parcells is right. Terry Glenn is a girl.

Thank you Malcom!
Good gosh that is hilarious. It almost looks like he pulls his hands up to cover his head like a little girl. |

That's really bad... what a little girl he is! ST would have blown him up!! |
Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
ST still could have laid him out he was close enough to get away with a clean hit. This is from the first game?
|
Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
that is truly great. he didn't hear footsteps, he was LOOKING straight at him bearing down on him and Glenn decided it wasn't worth it. thats a new classic.

No, from the 2nd game (12/18). Hate to get greedy, but does anyone have a clip of ST almost scaring Todd Pinkston out of his cleats last season? |
Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
I also loved when JJ was about to catch a screen and saw Taylor coming full speed and dropped the ball.

So ST has a few people now looking for him. I would love to be in the film room when the team is reviewing the game tape. |

I can't take credit for these. I just download them when I find them elsewhere. I AM however, looking how to make them so I'll be able to take requests very soon. |

That's the other thing. After watching the clip a couple of times, I realized that ST had the presence of mind to pull up and NOT risk an usportsmanlike penalty. Not sure he would have done that last year. Taylor said things are starting to become more instinctive for him; I think his pulling up shows that. (One of my guilty pleasures from last year was when ST gave Owens a forearm shiver that laid Owens out as Owens was WALKING BACK TO THE HUDDLE - dumb move that got properly penalized. But, I just LOVE to see Owens get smacked around.) |

http://www.skinsfan.us/redskins/Week14vsPHI03_PinkstonHearsFootsteps.mpg
I love that clip! I don't think I've EVER seen a receiver pull up quite like that - unbelievable. He actually looks down from the sky at Clark, jumps and pulls his arms in. Just classic. |
Re: Terry Glenn Hearing Footsteps
Some of us think Pinkston thought it was Taylor about to knock his block off, but it could have just been the guy is a first class wuss and he was scared to get hit regardless of who it was.
