Redskins' Franchise Record
I just added up all our wins and losses over the last 70+ years and it came up to 505-462 (not counting this year). I know that is over .500 but what's the real percentage? I don't know how to figure that out.

Re: record

What grade are you in? |
Re: record
what grade got to do with anything? i posted a thread to talk about not to ask someone what grade they're because i dont know the formula to get a percentage. So if you want to talk shit dont do it here go somewhere else. f*&^# idiot

Re: record
jeez guys calm down LOL
To take the % add up the total, in this case = 967 and divide the wins by the total. 505/967 = .522 |

Re: record
I was having a hard time with the following formula last week as I was trying to calculate the original size of content encoded in Base64. It looks simple but it took me couple of hours to figure it out! Any of you fellas want to take a crack at it?
Equation: ((x + 3 - (x MOD 3)) / 3) * 4 = y Question: What is x? Hint: Just do simple algebra to get x on one side all by itself. |
Re: record
i think a pretty good post here something to think about and maybe like Schneed10 said wonder what the rest of the nfc east records are over the past 70 years and 1 guy (IRISH) wants to make a smart ass comment and now we're talking about freaking math. give me a break. IRISH suck my A@@!!

So we get: ((x + 3 - (3x))/ 3) * 4 =y And we remove the number 4 because Matty said so, and he's the Admin So ((x + 3 - (3x))/ 3) =y. Now multiple each side by 3 3x + 9 - 3x =3y 3y=9 y =3 or why 3 or "What is Question 3" Nice try Saden, you thought you could fool us! (by the way, Hail2em, I'm looking for some historical winning percentages. No luck so far) |
Re: record
I think I have it!!!!! The answer to Question 3 is "3" which is how many points the Skins will beat Dallas by this weekend? At least that is what Peter King thinks!

Re: record
Is it just me or is everything falling into place for us to possibly make the playoffs?
1) All starting cornerbacks listed as probable. 2) Antonio Pierce hurt for our game (not that I'm worried about his play, but his signal calling). 3) Eagles just flat out sucking it up. |
Re: record
Somehow it always comes back to Question #3 and appropriately so.

Matty, we are all still contemplating the "mysteries of Question number 3". I have no idea what the hell it is all about, but it is cracking me up!!!! |

Re: record
So ((x + 3 - (3x))/ 3) =y. Now multiple each side by 3 3x + 9 - 3x =3y
That three on the left side is under all of x+3-(3x) right?? so At that point when you multiply both sides by three don't you just get rid of the three in the denominator so the equation at this point would be x+3-3x=3y then combine the x and -3x and get -2x+3=2y and then x =-(2y-3)/2 ?? so question 3 isn't the center of the universe??? can't be i must of done something wrong |

I think you have some thing there...Let me put on my Einstein hat on. Aha, my god man, I have solved it. Gentlemen behold the Grand Unification Theory of Question X! When we had 1 SB trophy we were asking "Question 1." When we had 2 SB trophies we were asking "Question 2." When we had 3 SB trophies we were asking "Question 3." This leads me to believe that once we win a 4th SB trophy we will indeed know the answer to Question 3 since we’ll be moving on to Question 4. I’d like to thank BigSKINBauer as couldn’t have accomplished this feet without standing on his shoulder. |

(Sorry one long sentence) But gaining recognition in this theory i must naturally believe in it.:biggthump |
