Raiders post game thread
Game wasn’t on here, so I just followed along until it became obvious we had it. Run game and D seemed to have won it for us. Any word on Terry? I feel like he was on the verge of breaking out and it would be a shame if he misses time.

Re: Raiders post game thread
Maybe the best effort all season.
I was in and out all day, but when I checked in they were kicking ass |
Re: Raiders post game thread
D-line dominated for the most part. A few sloppy penalties on the o-line. Seems like w/ all the talk about Bill, we forgot about McNichols. We got 3 guys that can get the job done at RB. No need to run Debo between the tackles.
Mariota? What else can you say. I was out on that guy but he has shown that when he has been given a chance, he runs this offense every bit as good as Jayden does. We may have something in Lane! |
Re: Raiders post game thread
Will Harris broke his fibula in the game. Geez. Butler and Owens are next guys up.

On what had been the 4th rated rush defense too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No doubt. I think the 2 new guards helped with that as well |
Re: Raiders post game thread
Great game. Rush defense and rushing game both were impressive. Football is really not that complicated. Do both of these well and you win most of your games. Mariota played great. Maybe the best backup NFL qb I've seen. Love the guy. Fun game and a Raiders throttling.

Re: Raiders post game thread
Mariota is the perfect complimentary QB to JD.
Gotta clean up the penalties. This injury pace is not sustainable. We're losing guys left and right. --- The Cowboys are an atrocious football team. Russell Wilson can barely complete a pass against any other team in the NFL. Vs. Cowboys = 450+ yards |
Re: Raiders post game thread
I stand by my theory that Mara was too lazy to fire Daboll in the offseason and didn't want to screw with a coach search. They are looking at 0-3 now and had a crazy, horrendous collapse at the Girls last week. Sure things could turn around but the Giants losing continues. Dart and that dline about the only things to be hopeful about. Skattebo is a pretty cool player but not sure he is a dude in the NFL like college.

I’m already tired of announcers stumbling all over themselves with Skattebo.

Re: Raiders post game thread
Good insight on yesterday's game:
Most surprising performance: Edge rusher Maxx Crosby had a hard time getting anything going against Commanders rookie offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. The Raiders' star defender had a sack in 11 matchups against the first-round pick. But the sack came late in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. -- Ryan McFadden |
Re: Raiders post game thread
Who is Ryan McFadden and when did he last get his eyes tested?

Kid has a way to go in cleaning that up. |

Totally agreed. On the season, he has fewer rushing yards that JCM (Bill) and McNichols. And fewer rushing yards than a slew of QBs, including JD5, Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, and Murray. Hard to understand the fascination. |

Made me think of The Longest Yard (the original). There must have been at least 10 times where Crosby threw up his hands like, “Are you seeing this?” The good news is that the string of elite edge rushers ends next week. But still…. I’ll bet Conerly never did that in practice. Von Miller would go nuts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If Chris Paul can play that well at Guard consistently, we have found our guy there

Re: Raiders post game thread
Getting Darnell Savage on the team after losing Wil Harris is pretty lucky.
Great job by the office to getting him quickly on the team |
