Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
Post and talk about NFL Free agent signings here. List a source if you can
This is a guy i had on my radar as someone I would have zero problem with signing here: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 47m Ravens are re-signing LT Ronnie Stanley to a three-year, $60 million deal. |

I'm expecting 1-2 oline free agents signed soon. Also expecting the unit to be upgraded in the draft. This franchise has neglected this unit far too long. |
Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
I to was hoping to sign Stanley, not sure if any other LT is obviously better than our current low cost rookie. I expect them to get a solid guard like Fries or something, I hope! We still should retain our swing tackle Lukas if we can, i remember last year when we did, it was a sigh of relief, and it paid off too! The one thing we gotta keep in mind, our oline needs to be able to move to run screens, they need wheels, a line like the 49ers vs straight line bruisers. Especially now with Deebo. Not sure if Fries has wheels or not at guard. I know our backup Tackles cant move so well

new deal for DK Metcalf: Steelers are signing their new wide receiver to a five-year, $150 million contract, per sources. Wtf! |

Wtf!
I think Metcalf is first WR to get a big contract from Steelers in a long time. |
Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
Metcalf signing to a team with no QB. All about $. But he and Pickens make a good combo. And their big TE too. Interesting signing.

Pass-rusher Khalil Mack agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year, $18 million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal is reportedly fully guaranteed.

Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
Jaycee Horn is now a highest paid CB - 4 yrs for $100m. It's not terrible but I don't think it's not a good move on Panthers' end.

Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
These fucking teams need to stop getting our free agents…fucking broncos and lions. Seriously fuck off and eat shit

Interesting 16m over 2 years, that is very reasonable, we must be wanting an upgrade. Chinn is stronger vs run, perhaps his pass d wasnt good enough, I did like him, he showed flashes, but sometimes went games without major impacts we hoped for. Sad |
Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
Shit - Cornelius Lucas signs with the Browns. That’s not good at all. He was a real comfort when guys went down.

Pickett to the Browns:

That’s not a bad contract. I wonder if we didn’t offer that or whether we did and he was pissed at a 1 year deal. Well, I hope he enjoys meeting Mr Tunsil twice this fall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Dang, I guess we either lowballed him or didn’t offer him a new contract.
Yeah surprised he wasn't retained. 10.5 sacks is no joke which he had in 2024. I trust in Peters, but I would have done everything to keep him. Loved his motor and first step.

Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
I think they saw him as a 1 trick pony, no good vs run. And we must up run D. Liked what he did, but 8M for a situational guy that's never really lived up to his draft status? All signs point to a DE @ #29, or 2nd round with a trade back.

He's money on passing downs. Either way wish he stayed. I'll trust in Peters but no doubt big changes coming to the dline.

Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
I think he probably wanted more money than the team was offering (until it dried up and he realized he wasn't getting the big deal he thought he deserved). By then I'm assuming the team had moved on (or bad blood or whatever).

that is a lot of money and cap space in just three guys IMO i would traded t higgins |
Re: Around the League: NFL Free Agent Signings
They’re not going to be able to pay too many more people. They’ll have great WRs and a great QB but they better hit paydirt in the draft or they’ll be screwed.
